Valve Launches Steam Music Player for Public, Now Out of Beta


In the month of February, Valve has unveiled the beta version of Steam Music Player. The Steam Music Player allows its users to directly play the music without having to exit the game. Now, Valve has launched this Steam Music Player for all of its users. And in order to celebrate this, Valve has offered few soundtracks which includes Half-Life, Half –Life 2 and other popular soundtracks. Not only it offers free sound tracks, Half-Life games are 75% off until October 1.valve-steam-music

In order to access the Music Player, go to View and then Music Player. Visit “Setting” tab in the Music Player and you need to add or remove directories for Music files.

In a recent update, Valve Said,

“We’d love to hear your feedback, feature requests, and ideas for where Steam Music should go next,”,”Stay tuned, as we plan to add more features so you can experience Steam music in new ways. We’re just getting started.”

The Steam Music Player will be a better option for those users who loves to hear music while playing game and the company as announced this on the Official Website of SteamOs. The valve has been seriously working over with several content providers to bring content to Steam Customers. The company has also launched Steam Discovery Update and it allows the users to find the game they need.

Alden Kroll of Valve said about Steam Discovery Update as,

“We have made great efforts to increase the number of titles we can publish on Steam, which means more choices for customers,” “This update introduces multiple features and functionality to help customers explore Steam’s growing catalog and find the games they are most interested in playing.”

The updated marketplace will bring out more shopping experiences to the users and helps them to get whatever they want.
