Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg’s wax figure to sit in Madame Tussauds San Francisco

London-based wax museum Madame Tussauds has recently unveiled a wax figure of Facebook co-founder Mark Zuckerberg on Wednesday, which will be placed at its museum in San Francisco in June.

The wax figure depicts the current Facebook CEO sitting lotus in barefoot holding a laptop (no brand name depicted here!), wearing a jeans, t-shirt and his signature hoody. Mark Zuckerberg’s wax figure will join greatest tech luminaries such as Bill Gates of Microsoft and Apple co-founder Steve Jobs.

There will be a grand opening in June in San Francisco, where Madame Tussauds will unveil wax figures of many celebrities, including Hollywood Actor Kate Winsletlegendary boxer Muhammad Ali, Tennis star Serena Williams, Johnny Depp, Leonardo Di Caprio, Jackie Chan and many others.

According to Lauren Fahrer, marketing manager for Madame Tussauds San Francisco, Zuckerberg’s wax figure took 3 to 4 months to be created by 20 artists and with the real hair inserted, the wax figure looks very realistic. She also revealed that the artists constructed the figure using photos of Mark Zuckerberg.

If you don’t remember, Apple once reportedly sued a Chinese toy-maker for producing a Steve Jobs’ action figure but it wasn’t filed any such lawsuits against Madame Tussauds when they created a static wax figure in 2012 to showcase it in Hong Kong’s museum.
