Samsung will be reportedly launching its Ativ SE Windows Phone for Verizon by this month-end (April), while the device might not come with the latest Windows Phone 8.1 OS pre-installed.
The news came from a popular tech blog, The Verge, where it said that Samsung Ativ SE handset to launch in April 2014 with Windows Phone 8, citing the source close to the Verizon’s plans.
Samsung Ativ SE for Verizon to come with the same 13-megapixel camera, 5-inch Full HD display with 1080p resolution, Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM from Samsung Galaxy S4 and the design as well as the body looks similar to Galaxy S4 handset. The device will also feature 16GB internal storage space with an expandable microSD card slot.
Samsung Ativ SE handset to receive the Windows Phone 8.1 update soon after the company develops the software for this model. That being said, Samsung Huron will be the device that comes with Windows Phone 8.1 software-preloaded. We don’t think, this is the same handset we have seen in the recent leaks.
