European HTC One receiving software update to fix KitKat WiFi bugs

Two months after releasing the official Android 4.4.2 KitKat firmware for European HTC One, the company has released another minor software update that fixes all the bugs from earlier update.

In January 2014, HTC has rolled out the Android KitKat update that brought many performance improvements along with the latest HTC Sense 5.5 UI (User Interface). Unfortunately, those enhancements also brought some minor bugs to the handsets. Now, the software update has been rolled out to solve all those issues.

This minor update version 4.19.401.11 resolves unstable WiFi connection issue by adding support for more routers. However, the update package contains 205MB of files, but we recommend you to download and install the update as soon as possible to improve your HTC One smartphones’ performance.

If you haven’t received the update notification yet, then you can manually check for the update on your device by going to Settings > About phone > Software updates. If you don’t find the update, nothing to worry, as some regions and carriers will take few more days to get the update.
