After months of launching the WiFi version, Microsoft finally released the LTE model of the Surface 2 tablet for faster AT&T LTE networks with only option of 64GB internal storage.
The new Surface 2 LTE for AT&T has every features of Surface 2 and you will have no other storage options or other features to cut the price tag. However, the company has set $679 price tag for the Windows RT 8.1 tablet.
Microsoft Surface 2 LTE comes with Office 2013 RT pre-installed and will have a SIM card inserted in it. All you have to do is, just setup your data plan via AT&T AllAccess application. The company is also providing a 200GB of free storage at OneDrive and unlimited minutes and WiFi for free on Skype, as part of the promotion.
The Surface 2 LTE tablet’s specs sheet includes NVIDIA Tegra 4 processor, 2GB of RAM, WiFi (802.11a/b/g/n), 10.6-inch ClearType Full HD Display with 1920 x 1080 resolution, 5MP primary camera, 3.5MP front-facing camera, dual stereo speakers with Dolby surround sound, Bluetooth 4.0, USB 3.0, MicroSIM card slot, microSDXC card slot, headphone jack, HDMI port, cover port and importantly the battery is said to give 10 hours of backup. Stylus pen is not compatible with the Surface 2 tablets, but it works on Surface Pro 2 tablets.
