Although the TV costs £300+, it won’t support the 4K videos shot using your smartphone, as the TV has 1,366 x 768 as the maximum supporting resolution.
This is not the first time where the Sony customers in UK are getting the free perks with smartphones. In January 2014, Sony Store offered a free SmartWatch 2 with Sony Xperia Z1 Compact smartphone. Even the customers at some of the European territories has received the NFC and Bluetooth enabled headsets for free.
However, the offer is not something that you will get the TV along with your device. You have to head over to this link to register, after receiving the handset and paying the first month’s bill (between May 8 to July 8) to get the TV delivered to you within 30 days.
You have variety of plans to choose from, while pre-ordering the smartphone, but the one with a monthly charge of £42 is said to be the popular one, which will give the phone for free. You could pre-order the handset from official Vodafone UK shop.
