Google and LG Nexus 5 ‘Bright Red’ smartphones for sale now at Play Store

lg-nexus-5-redGoogle’s Valentine’s Day special, Bright Red Nexus 5 smartphone finally arrives at Google Play Store, which joins the already available White and Black models.

This time, Google not only released the new variant in United States, but also in 11 other countries, including United Kingdom, India, Japan, Canada, Germany, Australia, Korea, Italy, Spain, Hong Kong and France. By this month end, the device will be launched across other major European territories.

Last week, we have seen the new Red Nexus device roaming around the internet as the photo of the same leaked somewhere around. The new Bright Red Nexus 5 comes with the same color coating as white variant, but the device will be featuring the Red additionally on the side panels too and the front side remains black, as usual.

The new color option will not cost you anymore than that of the Black and White versions. Meanwhile, Google and LG’s joint venture, Nexus 5 devices are quite popular high-end smartphone among consumers worldwide due to their aggressive pricing and great performance. LG has sold 13.2 million smartphones in Q4 2013, including the LG G2 as well as the Nexus 5.

Launched in late-October last year, LG manufactured Google Nexus 5 boasts a 5-inch full HD 1080p display with 445ppi density, 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB of RAM, latest Android 4.4 KitKat software, 8MP rear camera, 1.3MP front camera, LTE, dual-aerial WiFi, wireless charging, NFC and 2,300mAh battery.

The pricing starts with $349 / €349 / £299 for 16GB model and $399 /€399 / £339 for 32GB model for Red, Black and White models.
