Android 4.3 Jelly Bean firmware update is now seeding for AT&T’s Samsung Galaxy S4 Active via both Kies software as well as OTA (over the air).
This new update comes with the Galaxy Gear smartwatch support, Knox security feature, better RAM management, Daydream and the TRIM support along with the enhanced performance and bug fixes. However, the update package comes inside a gigantic 770MB file, so it is better to rely on a WiFi connection for the uninterrupted firmware update.
Meanwhile, there is no update rolling out for the international version of the Samsung Galaxy S4 Active, which is still running on the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean software. Although the device’s hardware very much support the latest Android 4.4 KitKat, we don’t understand why the company hasn’t skipped the Jelly Bean and rolled the KitKat update.
Neither Samsung nor AT&T officially announced the update yet, but users are getting the update as I537UCUBML2. Stay tuned for more Android updates and news.
