Moto G Google Play Edition launched, 8GB for just $180 and 16GB for $200

Google’s smartphone arm, Motorola has announced Google Play Edition of its affordable smartphone, Moto G and is currently selling at US Google Play Store.

motorola-moto-g-google-play-editionCompatible on AT&T and T-Mobile networks in United States, the GSM unlocked Moto G GPE is prices at $180 and $200 for 8GB and 16GB storage, respectively. This would give Motorola a boost in Moto G sales as it will be featuring the latest stock Android 4.4 KitKat OS, may be the updated Android 4.4.2.


The device comes with the same specification as the regular Moto G smartphone, with 4.5-inch 1280 x 720 display withe impressive 329ppi density, 1.2GHz Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, user configurable 5-megapixel rear camera, 1.3-megapixel front camera and non-removable built-in 2,070mAh battery.
