International unlocked version of Samsung Galaxy S3 smartphone’s official Android 4.3 Jelly Bean firmware is now available for download and if you can’t wait for the OTA notification, then you can manually install it on your Android phone.
The new I9300XXUGMK7 firmware update of January 2014 is based on Android 4.3 JB, which can be installed only on global Galaxy S3 GT-I9300 devices. However, for many Galaxy S3 owners, the firmware update is now available on Samsung KIES software and in some region, people are getting the OTA (over the air) notification on their phones. Either wait for the official hassle free update or do the manual update, it’s your wish.
Meanwhile, millions of users (me too) already ported the CyanogenMod 10.2 stable custom firmware based-on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and many are already had the hands on the latest 4.4.2 KitKat via CyanogenMod 11 custom ROM, but it’s still in Nightly mode with few negligible bugs. Installing the third-party custom ROMs may void warranty.
