Samsung will be showcasing its new professional tablets Galaxy Note Pro and Galaxy Tab Pro at CES 2014, according to the massive banner outed by the company at South Hall of Las Vegas Convention Center.
Engadget spotted the large banner near CES place first, which also noted that the Note Pro comes with a Stylus pen and the tablet will be featuring a SIM car slot for voice calls and mobile data.
There were some rumors surfaced about the screen size, which pointed that the Note Pro will be coming with 12.2-inch screen size. The banner also shows the Samsung Knox security feature, which means the company is now eyeing on corporate customers with big screen and security features as Microsoft doing with their Surface tablets. Apple is also planed to release iPad Pro with powerful processor and large screen display for corporate customers.
Regarding the software in Note Pro tablets, the banner suggests that the South Korean giant has changed the UI of tablet from its Touchwiz, where it changed the usual icon grids to Windows Phone-like Modern UI with tiles and the app drawer icon is placed at the bottom right of the display. The tile also features icons as well as the widgets, but the status bar is missing from the display.
Last month, some reports suggested that Samsung will be launching Galaxy Tab Pro with 2 different sizes – 8.4-inches and 10.1-inches. For the accurate details, we have to wait for the Samsung’s press conference at CES event. The latest tablets will be coming to market in Q1 2014.
