HTC has quietly launched the gold HTC One Max phablets in Taiwan, which could also come to U.S., UK and anywhere globally. It joins the previous two color options, black and white.
However, this is not the first time the term “gold” is came up with the HTC smartphones as it has already launched 18 carat gold HTC One for £2,750 ($4,400)in UK as part of the 18th anniversary of the MOBO awards celebrations and we have seen a 24 carat gold HTC One worth $2500 in its own contest held for US consumers. Even the luxury personalized gift maker, Goldgenie is selling the pure gold and platinum HTC One smartphones at his official online store.
Don’t misunderstand this gold HTC One Max devices with the pure gold devices, as it only comes with the golden color coated on the aluminium case. Regarding the specifications, it comes with the same specs sheet of regular smartphone, including 5.9-inch full HD Super LCD 3 display, 1.7GHz Snapdragon 600 quad-core processor with Adreno 320 GPU, 2GB of RAM, Android 4.3 Jelly Bean with HTC Sense 5.5 and a 4MP rear camera with Ultrapixels.
It comes with 16GB and 32GB internal storage options with expandable storage up to 64GB via micro SD card slot, 2.1-megapixel front camera, rear fingerprint scanner and an impressive 3.300mAh battery.
