Microsoft to release Halo 5 – Spartan Assault for Xbox One on December 24

Although its too late and the wrong in time, Microsoft is setting the release date for the much awaited latest 5th franchise of Xbox’s killer game, Halo: Spartan Assault to December 24th.

Microsoft hopes that the new series of Halo game with 1080p resolution and 60fps will make the gamers hold more into their ne gaming console than ever and additionally the company also added a new cooperative mode for friendly collaboration such as new weapons and “Operation Hydra” add-on.

First released in July 2013 on Windows 8 PC and Windows Phone 8 platform, “Halo: Spartan Assault” comes to the Xbox console with revamped game controls, enhanced audio such as adding 7.1 Surround Sound as well as remastering the SFX along with the new music and VO.

Digital download of the Spartan Assault will be available for Xbox One later this month for $15 and the Xbox 360 version will be available in January. Even when launching the Xbox One console, many experts said that the company is releasing it in a bad time, referring to the Sony PS4 release date 1 week prior – still Microsoft was able to sell the consoles in millions in numbers.

PSA: If you purchase a copy of Twin Stick Shooter game for Windows 8 or Windows Phone 8 before December 15th, then you will get the console version of the new Halo series for only $5.

We can’t directly blame Microsoft about the bad timing, since there are millions of their new consoles are waiting for new game titles to play with it. Hence, Halo: Spartan Assault has already made into the minds of the gamers – only have to enter into the consoles on or after the release date.

The company’s latest console Xbox One was globally launched in November 22, 1 week after Sony PS4 console’s release in U.S. and Canada. Strangely, Microsoft is not giving the exact numbers of unit sales, but it keeps on providing the gameplay numbers and in-game activities and its numbers such as “xxx numbers of zombies killed till date”, except the revelation of surpassing 1 million units sales in first 24 hours of launch, similar to the number of Sony PS4 day-one sales.
