The new game Civilization 6 was launched on iPad, right before the Christmas holidays. Sis Meier’s game is the latest entry in the long-running series of Firaxis Games. Fans are thrilled to see that the new game is finally out. The series only contains turn-based strategy games. The iPad version of Civilization 6 game seems to be a port of the full PC game.
The new game’s price is $60. In the beginning, 2K Games launched this game on Windows PC and Mac in October 2016. In February 2017, they have launched a Linux version of the game. The iPad version is the first time when a Civilization title has been brought on mobile gadgets. Users can download the new game, being able to play the new 60 turns for free. Then, they will need to pay for the full game. During the game’s launch window, the unlock is on sale in the App Store. It costs only $29.99.
The game Civilization 6 is now available for iPad
This great deal expires in two weeks, on January 4th, 2018. Hence, the unlock will go back to the regular price of $59.99. The price of the game is unparalleled, even if we were to think of a full console/ PC game. To make a comparison, 2K Games charged players $19.99 when the XCOM: Enemy Unknown was launched for iOS in 2013.
Aspyr Media is the publisher of the iOS version. It claims that the Civilization 6 for iPad received some updates regarding the touch controls. However, the port does not support controllers.
The game Civilization 6 is now available on iPad too. Game developers decided to discount the game during the Christmas holiday. The sale period will end on January 4th. IPad users are thrilled to see that their favorite game finally got rebuilt, introducing some new specs.
