Forza Motorsport 7 Is All About Choices

Car in Forza Motorsport 7

Turn 10 Studios’ latest installment of Forza Motorsport is the kind of racing game that has a little bit of everything for every fan of the genre. And it’s not like the previous installments were not good or were not offering this, but this time, the seventh game in the series does it the best. Most importantly, this is a game where you have choices that you are not being forced to take in a certain way. Its Forza Driver’s Cup, the single player campaign, does this in the best way possible.

In the beginning, you are obligated to complete three separate races. However, the vehicles and the environments are so varied that it will never feel repetitive. Also, the game offers you lots of alternative routes towards completing the races. But this system of unforced choices will feel nice in the begging. After a while, you will surely stick only to the types of cars you love, and choices won’t matter.

A game that offers choices

The framerate of Forza 7 is as smooth as it was during the other installments. It’s also the type of game that you can play or hours and it won’t feel like it. The controls can be customized to fit your preferences and they also work smoothly. Older locations from the Forza game make an appearance here too like Laguna Seca or Brands Hatch. But maybe Prague feels like the most nostalgic part of the game.

The game also has a time of day cycle and impressive weather effects. In combination with Prague’s impressive baroque architecture, it made the game look and feel amazing. This is not a racing game that’s empty of any feeling or mood. On the contrary, it goes deeper and makes you want to keep on driving, even if you are not a fan of those games.

Going beyond simple racing games

It’s worth noting that people who bought the Ultimate Edition version will also be able to enter various online races starting September 29. This will be very interesting as real players will always be more unpredictable than an AI-controlled vehicle. All in all, Forza Motorsport 7 is one of the best racing games of the year. Complex, beautiful and vibrant, it offers everything a racing fan could hope for.
