According to some rumors from some people who always seem to obtain news before they are made public, the new Pixel smartphone from Google, the Pixel 2, might have its official launch on October 5, this year. Evan Blass, one of those well-informed people also said in his tweet that the Snapdragon 834 processor might power the device. It’s interesting that he got this information because this processor has not been announced yet. However, it’s possible that it will be released soon. Especially if the rumors are true. Also, the Pixel 2 will be powered by it. It will probably be some kind of update to the Snapdragon 835 processor.

It’s worth remembering that the previous two headsets from Google, the Pixel and Pixel XL were released last year, also in October. So, if the rumors are true, the company will keep this release date for the next device too. Moreover, now that Google has also introduced the new Android 8.0, those two new smartphones will be the first ones to come equipped with it. Over the past weeks, both the Pixel 2 and Pixel XL 2 have been subjects of debate in the tech industry. Many leaks and rumors have affected those two devices, but maybe it’s because so many people liked the first one. Now, they are eagerly-expecting the next one.
According to some rumors which seem to be true, the upcoming XL 2 device will not have bezels at all. So, they are following the new trend made popular by the Samsung Galaxy S8. Also, when it comes to its design, the device will borrow some traits from both the S8 and the LG G6. It will surely have an elegant design, based on these rumors.
Rumors and leaks
As for the Pixel 2 smartphone, this one will be smaller and will apparently have bezels. However, this is also a rumor. It’s very possible that both devices will not have bezels at all. They will probably come with a similar design. Both smartphones will ship with AMOLED displays and will come with 4Gb or RAM each. Moreover, rumor has it that both will be dust and water resistant.
