Feast your eyes on Huawei Matebook as it becomes available for pre-orders on Microsoft’s website. The new Matebook tablet will also make its way to other retail stores such as Amazon or Newegg starting July 11.

Huawei claims that its new tablet is the lightest 12-inch tablet out there on the market, coming in at only 1.4 pounds. Huawei also boasts with a 9-hour battery life with regular usage. The company states that MateBook is designed to meet the needs of busy professionals. This light, ultra-thin, and stylish tablet is perfect for business trips. Feast your eyes on Huawei Matebook. Its design is simple, minimalistic, with a sleek exterior crafted from metal and other materials that have been perfectly polished.

Huawei assures users that they are provided with one of the most secure file storage systems. The tablet is equipped with a fingerprint sensor (Windows Hello compatible) designed to unlock the device with a single touch.

And it’s not just the outside that counts. The quick and powerful MateBook features 8GB of RAM and 512GB SSD. It’s also cool and silent thanks to its 6th-gen Intel Core m5 processor.

Some key highlights of the Huawei MateBook include:

  • Windows 10 Home, 64-bit, operating system

Huawei Matebook is available for pre-orders on Microsoft Store. The starting price is $699, going up to 1,199 depending on hardware (the processor, RAM storage, and SSD storage) :

  • Huawei MateBook with Core m3, 4GB RAM, and 128GB SSD comes at just $699.
  • Huawei MateBook with Core m5, 4GB RAM, and 128GB SSD costs $849.
  • Huawei MateBook with Core m5, 8GB RAM, and 128GB SSD costs $999.
  • Huawei MateBook with Core m5, 8GB RAM, and 512GB SSD costs $1,199.

Just as with other products, users have to pay extra for accessories. The keyboard accessory costs $129, the MatePen with integrated laser pointer costs $59, and the MateDock with two USB 2.0 ports, an HDMI port, an Ethernet port, and a VGA port, costs $89.
