Apple Inc. generates 80% more revenue than Google’s Android from paid Apps

Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) and Google Inc. (GOOG) have been competitors for a long period of time now and that too on various fronts. But the major front that has turned out to be their respective mobile operating systems. iOS and Android are literally market rulers in the field of smartphones, but as it happens, Apple’s iOS is way ahead of Google’s Android, when it comes to revenue generation from their respective play stores.google-vs-apple-app-store

There is no doubt about the fact that Google Play Store has seen a significant rise in the number of applications downloaded in the past year or so, but when it comes to downloading paid applications, Play Store still has a long way to go.

According to the latest reports put through by mobile analytics firm, iOS App store generates revenue which is approximately 80% more than that of Google Play Store. But on the other hand, the study also suggests that Google Play Store has way more number of downloads and visits when compared to that of its counterpart, iOS’s App Store. The experts believe that Google to a certain extent can be pleased with the number of visitors it has, which indirectly points out to the sale of Android devices all across the world.

On one hand, Apple Inc. has initiated its process of getting a strong hold on the Chinese market, with its iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. The nation seems to have accepted the new devices quite well. Android on the other hand, has control over the three largest markets for Smartphones; United States of America, Brazil and India.

Experts believe that as Apple is slowly getting more devices in the field at comparatively lesser prices, even Google will move into better revenue generation from its applications.
