Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOG), after becoming Alphabet Inc, buys all 26 letters domain to keep things covered. The missed a few last time and the parent site of the search engine points to abc.xyz. Now they have bought abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvqxyz.com too.
The domain is pointing to nowhere, but it is a recent joke by company spokesperson that other alphabets were feeling left behind and we did not want any biggie like Facebook or Apple to get their hands on the domain that clearly explains Alphabet Inc.
From October 2015, Google and all its services and products are a part of Alphabet Inc. The search engine giant’s parent company announced and now is hosted at abc.xyz. But the company stunned the world with this news. Google is all about doing cool things that matter.
They hate being a regular company, as Larry Page points out – As Sergey and I wrote in the original founders’ letter 11 years ago that their vision for Google is not to be a company that does things that other companies do. The innovate and become pioneers in the products they build.
Porducts like Google Driverless Cars, Hangouts, Gmail, Glass have created history over the course of time. Both founders are still trying to scratch the same itch and delivering to the world.
Is it going the way it should be? Growth is really important so is re-branding. The shuffling inside the organization is great as more new products are being built for the whole world.
