As we expected and previous rumors, Apple is all set to reveal the new iPad lineup and other upgraded computing devices on October 22nd and we’ve received the invitation to the product event in San Francisco.
On October 22, the event will be held at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts Theater in SF (many Apple’s previous product launches held here) and the function will be starting at 10 a.m. Apple said today in a note to media members.
As the holiday season nears the company planned to unveil a bunch of new devices along with upgraded models in the even, which might include a new iPad 5, iPad Mini 2, Mac OS X Mavericks operating system and some upgraded Mac Pro high-end computer. Cupertino, California-based, Apple might unveil iPad Mini with the Retina Display but the availability of the Retina Display iPad might be delayed.
Last month Apple unveiled two new iPhones – iPhone 5S and iPhone 5c, where the Gold iPhone 5S has got overwhelming demand and the company planned to double the production, whereas iPhone 5c production cut to half from 300K to 150K. There may be a larger screen iPhones coming in next year, according to the rumors.
Global tablet market sales plunged 9.7% to 45.1 million in the second quarter of 2013, which clearly point out that people are saving up time as well as money for new Apple iPads. According to IDC (Global market intelligence firm), Previous model iPad sales also fell from 1st quarter’s 19.5 million to 14.6 million.
