Google to become a wireless carrier to sell data plans directly to consumers

In the past few years, Google (NASDAQ:GOOG) has entered into several fields as well as a huge range of industries. In addition to that, Google has also entered in selling various wireless services for different levels of private clients.google

Recently, tons of rumors has been leaked in the internet regarding Google next activities, i.e. virtual mobile operator. The confirmation has been arrived from the tech blog “The Information”, and that says the Company has made an agreement with an American mobile carrier Sprint and it will use its physical network for its usage.

It is similar to the Mobile Virtual Network Operators used by O2 and Three in United Kingdoms, that uses a new mobile network, which uses existing mobile network, shortly called as MVNO. It would be an advantage for Google, and it allows Google to set the operational cost right from the beginning itself. Without building the whole infrastructure, it has more freedom for accessing various sorts of things in it.

President of SoftBank Corp, Masayoshi Son was more crucial in the talk between Google and Sprint. He was the one who bought Sprint in the year of 2013, and he doesn’t want to get identified as the discussions were made private.

Google will pay Sprint network for the amount of capacity that has been used by it. At the same time, the certain package of services can be bought in bulk and then it will sell to its own customers also. By offering mobile services, Google can easily promote their mobile carriers with its physical sale of hardware for its consumers.

Google already has a bunch of services providers and also introduced broadband services in the few U.S cities. The wireless services will make the search engine giant to grow rapidly in the mobile platform.
