SAN FRANCISCO – The search engine giant Google has redesigned it’s search home page and started to roll-out on this Thursday, which is said to standardize the way of user interaction across all devices including PCs, tablets and smartphones.
After this redesign, the homepage will be having very less options visible directly and if you have to go to any of the other services of Google, you have to click on Google Plus tab or an apps tab and the homepage is designed as very minimalism. The famous Google search box will remain same as large as before and there are few changes to the colors and shading of its logo.
Google manager Eddie Kessler has posted in the official blog that the new layout will be available around the globe in next few weeks. Eddie Kessler also said:
“Regardless of your routine, getting around Google should be seamless, and once you’re inside an app, you don’t want any distractions. So we’re introducing an updated Google bar that streamlines your experience across products and devices.“
Although it tried to tighten-up the logo’s font, it haven’t revamped the logo design as much Yahoo did recently. Have you got the change yet?
