With the release of Apple latest OS X Yosemite operating system for iMac and MacBook the company has decided to make their users happy by releasing the update free of cost. The update that will be available on the app store will offer features depending on the specifications of the laptop or desktop computer.
Most Mac’s running the OS X Mavericks will support he latest Yosemite OS though the 2GB of RAM, 8GB internal storage is required for the download. The update can run on devices with OS X 10.6.8 Snow Leopard though all the features may not be available as in the latest Macbooks or iMacs. The update mostly appears in the form a banner in the Mac app store or ‘OS X Yosemite’ can be searched.
The OS X Yosemite 10.10 update file is 5GB and might take time to download based on the connectivity. An installer will pop up on the screen after the download and after choosing the hard drive for installation the computer will complete the installation with a reboot. The latest version and the best version of the operating system for iMac and MacBook is now installed.
