Video: Microsoft Surface Pro 3 as the world’s most productive tablet

Microsoft has published a new ad on YouTube which claims that the Surface Pro 3 “is the most productive tablet on the planet”. The new ad coincides with Apple’s release of the iPad Air 2 and iPad Mini 3 on Thursday.Microsoft Surface Pro 3 with Surface Pen

The video showcases some of the tablet’s capabilities and features that make it a productive tablet on the go. Apple’s new tablet is the thinnest tablet in the world, measuring 6.1mm and Microsoft video was also created for this purpose. The Surface pro 3 features a multi-position kickstand  and is powered by a 4th generation Intel Core processor. Sony also joined the promotion by tweeting that the Xperia Z3 Compact tablet remains the most powerful waterproof tablet after its thinnest ranking was beaten by Apple.

The Surface Pro 3 is offered in three models with processors ranging from Intel Core i3 to Intel Core i7 with a 12-inch full HD IPS display. The device offers 8GB of RAM in the top model and comes equipped with a 5MP camera. An internal storage of 128GB is offered with 512GB in the top model and storage is further extended via OneDrive and MicroSD card support. The new ad is similar to the “Accolades” that was released in July except that new text has been added along with extra bass.

Microsoft has indeed gone a step ahead in providing Windows 8.1, a beautiful display, stylus, efficient battery life and notebook-like performance. Though the iPad Air 2 is the thinnest tablet on the plant the Surface Pro 3 might actually stand to its claim that it is the most productive tablet in the world. The company has not yet announced its plans for the lauch of the tablets before the holiday season though it its rumored that the Surface Pro 3 might not be released anytime soon.
