Valve has launched a bundle of 24 PC games in The Valve Complete Pack that includes popular games like Counter-Strike, Half-Life and will be available from October 1. The offer is a 75 percent reduction from the normal price of $100.
If users opt to buy the games separately, it would total to $146.30 on Steam. Steam which has more than 100 million users and 1,300 games has been added this year. The service with its growing popularity had only 300 games during nine months in 2013. Gamers will also be able to find games more easily as the Steam Discovery update was released this week. The promotion is seen as a celebration of the company’s growth.
Steam Music Player, launched on Sep 24 is offering free music soundtracks as a promotion. The MP3 player does not come loaded with all the features, though it might be added in future updates. The new feature allows users to use their own music of tracks or from Steam for listening while gaming. Steam Music will also be available to users through an update. The complete pack of 24 games includes add-ons in the games that were released till 2013.
Other games in the bundle include Portal, Portal 2, Left 4 Dead 1 & 2, Team Fortress Classic, Team Fortress 2 etc. The promotion is a great opportunity for Steam users to get the 24 classics by October 1.
