Verizon’s MOTO G gets Android Kitkat 4.4.4 update


The Google Play Store version of Moto G has already received the Android KitKat 4.4.4 update. Now it’s the time for the Verizon product. According to the reports, Moto G users with Verizon are all set to receive an update (Android KitKkat 4.4.4) over the air (OTA) anytime today. Moto G has to be given all the credit for the standout performance of Motorola all over the world. The Smartphone had been an instant hit and is the best-selling Smartphone from Motorola. Although the number of units sold has never been announced officially but surely it has to be in million. Moto G has already recorded the highest number of units sold this year.

According to the experts, the sales of Moto G might just pick up the pace again as a result of the update to Android KitKat 4.4.4. The sales will not just increase for Verizon but also for other carriers as many users will be expecting another update rollout for other carriers as well.

The rumors also have it that Moto G and Moto X are all set to receive an update of the upcoming Android L version of the operating system. Motorola has already made an affirmative statement in respect to the news, but one will have to watch for the time when the OS is released.

The LTE version of Moto G and Moto X will also be available for the update to KitKat 4.4.4 and Android L but Verizon does not market the LTE version. One will have to wait for the update rollout for the LTE models.
