The initiative of “Project Zero” has been undertaken by Google in order to protect the integrity of the Internet. The name “Project Zero” for the initiative has been fetched from the term “zero-day”. The main motive of “Project Zero” would remain to detect the flaws in the security systems all around the world and fix them.

A group of researchers have been hired by Google in order to facilitate this project. They will try to look for the zero-day vulnerabilities and the other flaws that can cause a threat to the users all around the world.

The security researcher of Chrome, Chris Evans said that the team will base its work in “real time”. The bugs that are found by the researchers will be reported promptly to the vendor of the software and the researchers will also elongate their helping hand to the vendor in order to lower down the effect of those bugs.

Evans also stated that “You should be able to use the web without fear that a criminal or state-sponsored actor is exploiting software bugs to infect your computer, steal secrets or monitor your communications.
