During the Evolution Championship Series (EVO) fighting game, Bandai Namco announced the development of 7th franchise of its popular Japanese fighting game Tekken 7, and they have also released trailer video about the Tekken 7.
Summer season is the best season for most of the events that are regarded with games and entertainment. And one of the main event of this month is EVO tournament 2014, that is shortly called as EVO2k14. It’s a premier game tournament, especially for fighting games. In that event, the company has stated that it has started the production of Tekken 7. In addition to that, a trailer of Tekken 7 has released and also streamed in the Evo tournament 2014.
Katsuhiro Harada, TEKKEN series Executive Producer and Game Director at Bandai Namco said in a statement:
“The power and flexibility means that we can focus our efforts on making TEKKEN 7 the best possible game without worrying about spending time creating a stand-alone graphic engine… With Unreal Engine 4, we could rapidly achieve visual quality expected on next-gen platform and go beyond it. Not only is Unreal Engine 4 powerful and easy to use, but it allows us to immediately bring TEKKEN 7 to any platform we desire.”
Tekken Game was released twenty years ago for the first time by its developer Bandai Namco and it becomes an instant classic game in the Japanese arcade empire before it sweep across this globe. This game was mainly ported to the PlayStation and the first three series of Tekken series should give a fair amount of credits to the wonderful Sony’s consoles. Sony’s gaming consoles made an excellent and exclusive advertisement for the Tekken series apart from other competitors.
In the trailer, Kazumi Mishima plays the major and crucial role in the gameplay. Kazumi Mishima is the wife of Heihachi Mishima and mother to Kazuya Mishima, which makes her the grandmother to Jin Kazama. In the trailer, it seems Heihachi killed her and that makes Kazuya to avenge her. The trailer also shows that the powers of Kazuya and Jin are inherited from Kazumi.
