Steve Ballmer decides to quit Microsoft soon. Microsoft (Nasdaq “MSFT”) founded in 1975 by Bill Gates known as world richest man for long time. The company provides software, services and solution that help people and businesses realize their full potential.
At January 2000, Bill Gates retire from CEO post and Steve Ballmer appointed as new CEO by Board of director. Steve Ballmer is 57, American businessman worth $15 billion (2013) and 30th employee of Microsoft.
Board of director of Microsoft said that “Board of director initiates succession process; Ballmer remains CEO until successor is named.” on 23 August 2013 on it’s official website.
“There is never a perfect time for this type of transition, but now is the right time,” Ballmer said. “We have embarked on a new strategy with a new organization and we have an amazing Senior Leadership Team. My original thoughts on timing would have had my retirement happen in the middle of our company’s transformation to a devices and services company. We need a CEO who will be here longer term for this new direction.”
Our internal source found that Microsoft needs modernization as per new generation wants in computing technology should fulfilled by CEO. Company is criticized by investors recently because new world wants mobile or tablets efficient technology and a step is already initiated by Google and Apple who is competitor of Microsoft. So it’s time to change CEO with new CEO.

Now process is started, Microsoft will reveal the new CEO’s name soon. But when company announce about appointing new CEO on Nasdaq Microsoft shares closed up 7.3 percent at $34.75 on Friday.
