AT&T has listed it with both locked as well as un-locked versions. Locked version comes with 2 years agreement. If you want to go for locked version then you will have to pay:

  • $ 199 for 16 GB Moto X variant with contract
  • $249 for 32 GB variant with contract

Price of unlocked version is kept lower than Apple iPhone 5 & HTC One and you will have to pay $580 for it but without contract!. It will come with SIM free variant which means a lot for some customers.

Another good news for Moto X lovers is the company has launched Moto Maker online portal for Moto X customization. This site allows you to choose color combination, ad-on accessories and memory limits for your own Moto X. Also it gives the option to integrate Google Account with it. You can even do it before it is shipped to your address.

Company has separated Moto Maker’s engraving feature from the initial bookings. Talking further about this issue, official representatives said that they have to make this harsh decision because of some technical issues. They will re-launch it again once the issue will be solved completely.

Talking about its specs then it comes with 4.7 inch screen (720p display) that runs on Android 4.2.2 Jellybean. It supports mazing software features like voice control, smart view etc.
