Finally, we have got a date, when Sony’s next PlayStation- PS4 video game console will be available for consumers in stores.
Sony unveiled the launch date of PS4 on November 15th in North America and on November 29th in European countries during a GAMESCOM event press conference, Germany. The PlayStation 4 gaming console will be available for $399.
Jack Tretton, Sony Computer Entertainment America’s CEO and president said, “We’re pleased to have some of the final pieces of the puzzle coming together for consumers to make their decisions. Sony is excited about the fact that it has 180 games in development mode and from these, there will be 30+ titles will be available on stores before the end of the year,” after the announcement in a telephone interview to USAToday.
According to Sony, there will be fifteen disc-based games titles will be available for gamers between the launch period and the end of the year. And totally approximately 33 games will be ready to launch by the end of the year, which also includes digital downloads from Sony PSN network. Sony PS4 also introducing some new addition to the console, which includes the hit game Minecraft and the streaming service Twitch. - Knack by Sony
- FIFA 14 by Electronic Arts

- Call of Duty: Ghosts by Activision
- Skylanders Swap Force by Activision
- Just Dance 2014 by Ubisoft
- Assassins Creed IV Black Flag by Ubisoft
- Watch Dogs by Ubisoft
- Battlefield 4 by Electronic Arts
- NBA Live 14 by Electronic Arts
Sony and Microsoft is trying their hands in the gaming console device market before the starting of the holiday season of 2013. But, Sony is trying to get most of it by reducing the price tag of PS4, which is $100 lesser than the rival Xbox One, which will also be available in the market by the end of the year for $499. According the CEO, Sony has already pre-sold more than 1 million PS4 consoles!
Currently, price cut version of 12GB PS3 and PS Vita handheld console is available in market. 12GB PS3 is in stores only for $199. Similarly, Microsoft Xbox 360 4GB model is also i the market for lower price tag than the actual Xbox 360.
