Mortal Kombat X gameplay on PS4 revealed [Video]

The gameplay trailer of Mortal Kombat X was revealed at during the announcement at Sony E3 press conference and will be released in 2015.mortal-kombat-10-gameplay-ps4---mortal-kombat-x-gameplay720ph264-aacmp4snapshot014620140610104135

Mortal Kombat X is set to include two new characters who are seen fighting on the dock. The new female entrant has bugs and insects flying around her while the second new character is a hulk-like personality with a little girl assistant on his shoulder which was similar to the dual team in Mad Max 3. The little assistant is also seen to assist the master in the fatalities and an attack on either of them will affect both as the master is seen getting hurt when the little assistant is attacked.

The battle between Sub-Zero and Scorpion was the highlight of the trailer as moves like eye-ball rupturing, spine breaking, piercing the skull and breaking rib cages were shown in X-ray. However the graphics will be quite lesser than the original trailer but users wont be disappointed with the gameplay. The gameplay is shown on a PS4 console and would run seamlessly on 60 fps.

Mortal Kombat X has brought in several gameplay elements similar to Injustice series as the trailer shows Sub-Zero grabbing a larger branch to attack the opponent after Scorpion used a branch as a weapon. The game retains its originality and has added new moves with added gore and the X-ray fatalities will be an added advantage.

Mortal Kombat will be released for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 platforms and will be available in 2015. Check out the gameplay trailer below:
