Electric Blue Samsung Galaxy S5 from Verizon to arrive soon


A leaked image from a press render has revealed a Blue Samsung Galaxy S5 with Verizon branding and is expected to be released soon.

Verizon is expected to launch the smartphone soon is likely to be available only to U.S consumers. The Verizon 4G LTE branding is similar to the Galaxy S5 phones that are in the market confirming the phone’s authenticity. There was no information regarding the launch but the new color variant is expected to arrive soon as the Copper Gold Verizon GS5 arrived days before it was officially released.

@Evleaks had released the render showing the back of the Electric Blue Samsung Galaxy S5 and had speculated about its arrival a few days back. Consumers planning to buy Galaxy S5 devices from Verizon will have several color choices like Shimmery White, Charcoal Black, Copper Gold and the upcoming Electric Blue variant.

The device will have the same specifications as the Galaxy S5 models in the market and the only change will be its color. The Galaxy S5 is powered by a Snapdragon 801 processor with 2GB of RAM, a 16MP rear and 2.1MP front camera. The device has a 5.1-inch AMOLED display with Android 4.4 with Samsung;s TouchWiz, heart-rate monitor and a fingerprint scanner. Other features include 16GB of internal storage and has water and dust resistant features.

Samsung had also announced that it had sold more than 11 million Galaxy S5 devices in the first month whereas Galaxy S4 sold 10 million devices in a month. Samsung hopes to attract consumers by releasing various color variants and increase the smartphone’s popularity.
