Now a days, consumers looks for every features in the smartphones and the camera became the important part of the device – high-end camera with more megapixels and more features is equal to more chance of buying. As per the current rumors roaming around the market, Apple will be implementing a really smart camera to its upcoming iOS smartphone, which could beat all other Android smartphones.

As we have seen in a iPhone 6 concept video, Apple will be adding a optical zoom feature with optical image stabilization and that could bring the resolution of the output as crisp and clear like taken from a DSLR cameras. Apple iPhone 6 to be come with 13-megapixel camera with this OIS technology. This time, the Cupertino will be adding a much powerful dedicated camera chip and it might be using the dual-camera technology in the 2014 flagship.

If Apple launches two different iPhone models based on the size, it might also experiment by inserting two different version of the camera configuration on both devices.

Google Nexus 6 – Will it be a camera-centric smartphone?

Android Silver (if not Google Nexus 6) will be a best shot from Google to lure budget-minded as well as premium smartphone users. Google is expecting much more from its next-generation Nexus smartphones. It’s not clear who will be manufacturing the Nexus 6 smartphones, but our sources says that the LG G3‘s affordable version will become the Nexus 6.

Rumor mills has got their own views on the upcoming Nexus device’s camera configurations. Some says that it would be coming with 13-megapixel camera and some says that 16-megapixel camera. There are also some rumors suggests that the Google Nexus 6 to be featuring a 20-megapixel camera with 5-megapixel front camera with a “selfie assistant” feature as well as a HDR mode for primary camera. After selling its Motorola smartphone unit to Lenovo in a $2.91 billion deal, now it’s a do or die situation for Google in smartphone field. So, the company will definitely add a powerful camera that could take really impressive photos soon.

As far as the marketing capture concerned, both Apple and Google will try its best to come up with a best smartphone with impressive specifications. And the smartphone camera will be the key player to change the decisive ability of the consumers.
