Reports have revealed the features of Samsung Galaxy Note 4, the latest in the Note series and is likely to be launched by September 3, 2014.
The report of the rumor has been first published by Android.gs, citing the source as a Samsung Insider. The upcoming Galaxy Note 4 is rumored to be powered by a Snapdragon 805 processor with 3GB of RAM. The smartphone is likely to have a 5.7-inch 2K display with a resolution of 1,440 x 2,560, 515ppi density and might include a Youm OLED flexible display. Other features include a 20.7-megapixel primary camera with ISOCELL sensor, 4G, Wi-Fi and a 3,800mAh battery. The smartphone will have the latest Android 4.5 OS and will include a 128GB internal storage as well.
The Note 4 will have the ‘Aqua Capture’ feature for capturing pictures underwater similar to the ‘Aqua Mode’ seen in Samsung Galaxy S4. Samsung is reportedly testing Swipe to Launch Motion Launcher that allows the user to use the camera, open up applications and other tasks by swiping on the screen. According to Android.gs, the Galaxy Note 4 is expected to be launched on September 3 while Galaxy Note 3 was released on September 4th.
An improved version of the fingerprint scanner known as ‘Smart Fingerprint’ will be seen in Galaxy Note 4 as users were not satisfied with the technology in Galaxy S5. The Note 4 will provide high-download speeds with the multi-network for Booster as the device can combine both LTE and Wi-Fi connections. The report also mentioned that Samsung will send out invites for the launch event during August. Samsung will unveil its phablet before the IFA show which will be held on September.
