Nokia X2 leaked specifications shows dual-core chip, 1GB RAM & Android 4.3

An AnTuTu benchmark listing has revealed the detailed specifications of Nokia X2, Nokia’s next smartphone in the X series that is also a entry-level smartphone with decent specifications such as Snapdragon 200 dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM and a forked version of Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS.nokia-x2-antutu-benchmark

The X will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor MSM8x10 dual-core processor, 1 GB of RAM and 4GB of ROM. The device will run on the customized version of the Android 4.3 OS. The processor can clock up to 1190MHz and has an Adreno 305 GPU. The AnTuTu benchmark site listed the device with the model number Nokia X2DS (RM-1013) which is the upcoming dual-sim smartphone.

The Nokia X2 dual-sim also features a 4.3-inch with 480 x 800 resolution and 5-megapixel primary and 0.3MP secondary camera. The specifications indicate that the X2 is also an entry-level device, though it was speculated that Nokia would be releasing a high-end smartphone. The smartphone’s performance has got an AnTuTu score of 11827. The X2 is also likely to have a home button as Microsoft was rumored to be working on it for the next X series.

However details regarding the price or launch date is not yet known. Nokia hopes to compete with Moto E as the X2 has a front camera with a lower resolution while the Moto E lacks a front camera but has a higher resolution. Moto X2 has undergone a significant upgrade from Nokia X in specifications as the processor is 200MHz higher, camera is up by 2-megapixel , RAM by 1GB and display size by 0.3 inch.
