It seems like that kind of year for General Motors where they have had issues all over. GM have always been tagged as one of the organizations with quite a good reputation at Car manufacturing. But this year, they have had their issues strung all over. Recently, GM made another recall of approximately 2.4 million vehicles owing some issues. General Motors have asked the dealers to stop the sales of cars like Cadillac Escalade, Buick Enclave, GMC Acadia, etc.
With this recall, General Motors have made 29 recalls this year and the number of cars recalled amounts up to more than 13 millions. Now with such drastic turn of events for GM, the alarm has been rung among the various ranks of General Motors. The company has faced quite some amount of wrath with the malfunctioning cars getting into some accidents resulting in casualties. Since then, General Motors have not taken any risks involving cars that seem to have some defects.
Earlier we have seen that GM had recalled 8000 Chevrolet Malibu and Buick LaCrosse. According to the reports, these two models suffered from some malfunctions in the brakes which could have caused some serious accidents. Although, the 13 million recalls have not yet affected the sales of General Motors but things might change drastically. In comparison to the 13 million by GM, Ford has had just 1.2 million recalls and Toyota with 2.9 million.
The stats are quite concerning as GM might face a real collapse in the market if the issues with all the vehicles is not solved in the recent times.
