HTC is is rolling out a new software update with new Sense 6.0 UI (user interface) for HTC One (M7). However, this updated user interface “Sense 6.0” will be available to the HTC users in USA, as of now.
Earlier this week HTC rolled out the similar update to the HTC One M7 with Sense 6.0 UI in Canada for both unlocked devices and those on Rogers, Bell and TELUS networks.
The new updated user interface that is being provided by HTC will be available for use on all the factory unlocked and carrier branded devices. Presently the unlocked devices that roll out from the factories will be having this new feature. The devices that will be carrier branded will have to wait for some amount of time as SENSE 6.0 is still in a stage of development for them.

The sad part is, the carrier-branded HTC smartphone owners are not enjoying the latest update, but needn’t worry about it. HTC has already developed the similar updates to the Sprint, Verizon and AT&T beanded HTC Oe M7 smartphones, which is now in final certification stage. However, the T-Mobile model will be getting the update after all of the above carriers, as it’s still i development phase.
As of now, the update is being received by tons of unlocked HTC One (M7) users in US via OTA notification. If you haven’t received the notification yet, then you could search for the update manually by going to Settings > About phone > Software updates. Make sure you have taken all necessary backups and charge the phone for at least 70 percent before starting the update procedure o a stable Wi-Fi connection.
