Mobli, the popular video and photo sharing app announced the release of Mobli 4.0 by adding new features including live broadcast option for streaming videos to their followers.
With the latest update Mobli brings in live-broadcasting feature and can be directly used from the mobile app. The videos will be streamed real-time to the followers with the touch of a button. Major updates are also included in new version with performance improvements. The company is also inviting 3rd party developers to improve the functionality of the platform.
Moshe Hogeg, the founder and Chief Executive said:
“Mobli is introducing the beginning of new era of live streaming.This is the natural evolution of visual content sharing as we see it, enabling users not only to broadcast live, but rather to fully interact in real-time, in a complete way, with people anywhere, anytime. Live content is our main focus for 2014 and we have a lot more to come.”
However the broadcasting feature is currently unavailable for Android users and will be added “soon” though users can see live-streaming videos. The new features added to the latest version include enhanced UI for smoother experience and a Developer portal for API and developers. The Mobli website has also been revamped using HTML 5 and will be launched on May 30.
The company has been focused on overall improvement of the platform and seeks to enter the International market. Mobli has partnered with technology leaders like Vic Lee, Carlos Slim and Kegnes Rakishev for its Global expansion while the latest Mobli 4.0 with improved functionality seeks to attract new users.
