Microsoft is going to launch Windows 8.1 Blue on 17 October 2013. Windows 8.1 Blue is the extended version of Windows 8 which is developed after receiving lots of negative reviews about Windows 8. Microsoft has already launched Evaluation Copy of Windows Blue. Till now it has received positive response from most of the users. I am myself is using Windows Blue Evaluation version. I am satisfied with 8.1 completely. Yes there are some tools that are not there in evaluation copy but don’t worry you are going to receive complete version on October 17.
What’s new in Windows 8.1 Blue?
Well according to Microsoft, Windows Blue is going to offer Internet Explorer 11 (for better internet services), Bing search, plethora of pre-loaded apps, better personalizing, improved Windows Store etc. So in short they are going to bring improvements in most of the previous shortcomings.
At the time of Windows 8, it was said that it is useless for non-touch machines. To some extent it was right, but also we can’t ignore the speed that it provides.

According to official reports, all Windows 8 users will be offered free copy of Windows 8.1 Blue as an official upgrade. However if you are using old Windows version then you will have to pay for it. Pricing details is yet to be disclosed from company’s end.
In a nutshell, Windows Blue is a smart OS that saves major portion of time. So if you are using Windows 8 (or even older versions) then it is a must have upgrade for your system.
