After iOS, now IFTTT app comes to Android phones and tablets as well

Android is now powered by IFTTT, by its powerful features. Recently, IFTTT was released for iPad, and now, here comes an app for Android as well.

IF This Then That is what IFTTT stands for, making it possible for various services to connect to other digital services for carrying out tasks that would never come true.

Backup for your contacts can be done automatically with IFTTT, and the backup can be stored on Google Drive spreadsheet regularly or when any changes are made. User can set the preference according to his/her taste.

As IFTTT gets its Android app, it has brought additional features to the service. Added to Android, IFTTT brings up better services such as, users can text messages directly which are automatically backed up to Google Drive or Dropbox. Push alerts are also added to this version of app.

Users can track specific phone number’s call, log phone calls, have a message sent when arriving or leaving a specific location. Here’s what the developers provided the description in Play Store:

IFTTT lets you create powerful connections with one simple statement — if this then that.
– Activate your Channels and create Recipes on IFTTT!
– Channels are services like Facebook, Gmail, Twitter, as well as devices like Philips Hue, Belkin WeMo, and UP by Jawbone.
– Recipes are connections between your Channels that unlock entirely new ways for your services and devices to communicate with each other.

As IFTTT is available in Play Store now, you can download the iOS version to your iPhones and iPads from Apple App Store.
