Lenovo has launched FLEX 2 convertible multitouch laptop cum tablet that will be available in market in two sizes – 14-inch and 15.6-inch display.
Lenovo FLEX 2 series of dual-mode laptops could be used as a standard laptop as well as tablet, by rotating the screen to 300 degrees. This device comes with a non-detachable stand for display only view. The design of the laptop resembles that of the YOGA series of convertible laptops.
With five color options, users could buy 14-inch FLEX 2 laptop with various Intel processor configuration options including the latest Haswell Core i7 processor, Nvidia GeForce graphics card and a battery with 6 hours of backup. The 15.6-inch FLEX 2 laptops will be powered by AMD processors that could come up to high-end A8 processor with Radeon series of graphics card.
However, some reports suggests that the FLEX 2 laptops will feature a full HD 1080p display resolution, while the web camera will be equipped with HD 720p sensor. Users could opt for different variants of built-in storage space up to 1TB. If you have enough money, you could also opt for a SSD (up to 256GB) or hybrid storage option along with the backlit keyboard and a long battery too.
The company has posted the starting price of $429 for the 14-inch laptop, while the 15.6-inch FLEX 2 will be available with the starting price of $799. Both the laptops will be available in market in June 2014.
Lenovo A540 All-in-One PC:
Along with the FLEX 2 laptop, Lenovo has also announced the new AiO (All in One) PC with a 23.8-inch IPS Full HD display with 1080p resolution along with a nice aluminium body and matching accessories. Intel processor based Lenovo A540 AiO machines will have many configuration options for users that could go up to Intel Core i7 processor and Nvidia GeForce GT840 graphics card.
Lenovo A540 All in One PC will be in the market in July 2014 with the starting price of $1,280.
