Sprint rolling out Android 4.4.2 KitKat update for LG G2

Starting today, Sprint’s LG G2 smartphone is now getting the latest Android 4.4.2 KitKat firmware update with the software version ZVB and release date 03/31/2014.


The software update brings all Android 4.4 KitKat features along with the device performance enhancements and printing options. The issues related to Next Radio also has been fixed by this software update. No major features provided in the changelog by Sprint US.

The update package also comes with LG exclusive UI tweaks, improved Knock On response, enhanced battery performance and improved security.

As the update is being rolled out, you will get the update notification soon on your device screen. You can also check for the latest update by going to Settings > System Updates > Update LG Software and tapping on Check Now button. You could also go to Settings > About phone too.

Make sure you have a WiFi connection for stable internet for uninterrupted download and charge the phone for at least 60 percent. If you have successfully updated the Sprint LG G2 Smartphone to official Android KitKat, post your review in the comments field below.
