Spotify updates Windows Phone 8 app to bring radio, discovery and browse

Spotify music streaming service announced that it will roll-out two major updates to its Windows Phone 8 app this spring to bring some key features such as radio, discover and playlist browsing.

Spotify’s Windows Phone app is now lagging behind the same iOS and Android apps, but these two app updates will catch up the trend soon. That means, Spotify users in Windows Phone 8 can browse playlists according to their taste, listen to personalized radio stations and discover more music easily.

If you closely look at the image gallery of the Spotify app screenshots posted above, you will see that the design and user interface also has been refreshed by keeping the Windows Phone platform’s style intact.

Spotify will release the new update for its Premium subscribers first. However, Spotify also promised that it will be launching the recently announced “free for mobile” soon on Windows Phone platform.
