Sprint becomes the first carrier to roll out the latest Android 4.4 KitKat firmware update to Samsung Galaxy S4 in United States and the update will be coming in phases, which started yesterday and will be completed by 9th March.
Samsung already rolled out the KitKat update to its Google Play Edition Galaxy S4 smartphones in late last year, where the TouchWiz version of the regular handsets were waiting for the software update. The wait ends today, at least for the Sprint users and the other carriers could follow soon.
However, Sprint released the updated Jelly Bean software for Samsung Galaxy S4 (build no: L720TVPUAMK5) in 20th December 2013, which came with minor bug fixes and improvements.
The latest Android 4.4 update will bring all the KitKat features along with the prevention of Information alert and the addition of Zact Mobile compatibility. If you have received the update to your device, please let us know with your screenshots.
