FCC filing confirms Samsung Huron (SM-W750V) Windows Phone 8.1 device

Now we have a strong proof that the Samsung’s 5-inch Windows Phone 8.1 smartphone could be launched in United States soon, as the device has just passed through the compulsory FCC filing.

Although we have a leaked image, the display and the display resolution of Samsung SM-W750V “Huron” for Verizon Wireless, it wasn’t already confirmed about the release. The phone with a physical home key will be boasting a 5-inch full HD display with 1,080 x 1,920 resolution.

The Verizon compatible LTE and CDMA frequencies’ presence give much proof of a Big Red launch. However, the FCC filing doesn’t discloses more details related to the specifications of the device and the availability other than the 1,500mAh battery.

The new Samsung Huron Windows Phone with model number SM-W750V could be unveiled at the upcoming Mobile World Congress event in Barcelona on February 24. We keep an eye on this story as it happens, stay tuned.
