Mozilla, the open source organization behind the popular web browser, Firefox has introduced new Firefox Accounts to for using on the browser on any devices for using Firefox Sync and the firm also released a Beta browser for Windows 8 Touch PCs.
With the new Firefox Accounts, users can take their web experience anywhere by logging in using their username and password, where all features gets integrated inside Firefox Sync, such as passwords, bookmarks, history and open tabs across the devices, including smartphones and tablets.
This is where Firefox was lagging behind Google Chrome, where the latter one is utilizing the Gmail accounts for syncing across the Chrome browsers anywhere. Currently, Mozilla rolling out the feature only via its Beta version of the web browser, Aurora, which could be downloaded from here.
Firefox Touch Browser for Windows 8
Mozilla has finally released touch optimized Firefox web browser, while the development started 2 years ago rumored as “Firefox Metro.” This feature is also available under the Beta channel, Aurora, user has to click on the “Aurora” tile in Windows 8 and above start screen to get started using the Touch browser from Firefox. The Firefox Touch browser will get installed along with Firefox 28 Beta for desktop.
The Firefox Touch browser is deeply integrated with the Windows 8 look and feel with the support of touch and swipe gestures, Firefox Sync, Windows share integration and visual navigation.
