Samsung’s Poland unit has unveiled its long rumored affordable version of Note 3 handset, Galaxy Note 3 Neo as well as Neo LTE+ smartphones with low price tag and the premium S Pen experience.
The new Galaxy Note 3 Neo and Neo LTE+ handsets boasts almost similar dimensions and 3100mAh battery, but the new phones are slightly smaller device that the original. Aesthetic feel of the new device is same as the original Galaxy Note 3 with the faux-leather plastic rear panel.
The new Neo devices boasts a 5.5-inch 720p HD display and 8-megapixel camera with 1080p video recording support, while the original version comes with a slightly bigger 5.7-inch 1080p full HD display and a 13-megapixel camera with the 4K recording support. New handsets also features a new chipset – a 6-core processor that consist of two 1.7GHz cores and four 1.3GHz cores, while the Neo LTE+ model has a 1.6GHz quad-core processor.
Both the device comes with 2GB of RAM, 16GB internal storage with expandable micro SD card slot and a 2-megapixel front camera. Both the Galaxy Note 3 Neo and Neo LTE+ comes with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean pre-loaded along with Samsung’s TouchWiz UI.
Available in three new colors – black, white and green, the new so-called affordable handsets will be releasing to the global markets in late-February. No price details has been revealed yet. Stay tuned on The Next Digit for more updates.
