Nokia X (Normandy) leaked specifications, it’s a 4-inch dual-SIM Android phone

There were many rumors surfaced regarding the Nokia’s Android smartphone codenamed as “Normandy,” including the recent leak of photo with live screen. But now we have another major information related to the specifications of the device.

Popular Twitter leakster account @Evleaks has posted that the alleged Android phone by Nokia has been named as Nokia X and revealed some of its key specifications.

According to the Evan Nelson Blass of Evleaks, the Nokia X will be powered by a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon dual-core processor, 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage space along with the expandable micro SD card slot. The exact information related to the exact SoC not available yet.

As the recent rumors suggested, Nokia X Android phone will be coming with a 4-inch WVGA display with 480 x 800 pixel resolution, dual-SIM support, 5 megapixel rear camera and a not so impressive 1,500mAh battery. Nokia will not be using the Google Play Store for applications, instead it will be introducing the Nokia Store in it. But, the users will be able to sideload the android apps from apk files via “unknown sources.”

Nokia will be continuing its trend of colors by introducing the Nokia X with six color options to choose from, that might include the yellow, red, black, green, white and blue as per the recent leaked photos.

As we know yet, Nokia will be using the Android software to run the device, but with their own user interface on top of the firmware, which could also restrict some of its features. It’s also expected that the Finnish phone-maker could launch the UI similar to Windows Phone OS with Tiles with the device.

Many experts and normal Nokia fans felt that the company will not introduce the Android handset as the company has been acquired by Microsoft and the deal will be closing soon. But, as per the recent report of MWC 2014 event’s press invitation, Nokia could launch the device in Barcelona this February, may be with its long-rumored affordable dual-SIM “Moneypenny” phone.
