Lenovo sells Miix 2, a 10-inch convertible laptop cum tablet starting from $699

Lenovo has begun to sell affordable 10-inch Miix 2 convertible Windows 8.1 tablet cum laptop on its online store, ahead of the actual release date fixed on March 2014.

In earlier January 2014, the company has announced the Miix 2 as a convertible tablet along with the refreshed Flex, Y and Z series of laptops. Meanwhile, the entry level model worth $499 isn’t available for sale, but the current starting range of the Miix 2 device is at $699 for WiFi model with 128GB eMMC storage.

Confusingly, the lesser 64GB storage version of the convertible gadget is priced at $749, which is $50 more than the 128GB storage as of this writing. Most probably, that may be the typo, but looking at the higher-model number, the $749 should be the price tag for the 256GB model. So, the 64GB model with the $499 price tag is yet to come to the store.

Regarding the specifications, both the models comes with similar specs sheet, except the hard drive. i.e., 10.1-inch FHD IPS LED display with 1920 x 1200 resolution, 1.33GHz Intel Atom Z3740 processor, 2GB LPDDR3 RAM, 32bit Windows 8.1 OS, 5-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel HD web camera, expandable (up to 32GB) microSD card slot, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 and a 2 Cell 25 Watt Hour Li-Polymer battery.

If you are interested to buy this latest convertible laptop cum tablet, you can head over to the Lenovo Store. Stay tuned for more update on this story.
